What to Expect:

Start your odyssey in Tokyo with an evening food safari; then visit traditional sake brewery, Ozawa Brewery, to try cups of their delicious sake. Enjoy shojin-ryori, a vegan Buddhist dinner, at your temple lodgings in Nagano; visit Daio Wasabi Farm, one of the biggest wasabi farms in Japan; plus visit a soba museum and join a noodle-making class. Take part in a private Japanese cooking class in Kyoto; explore the 400-year-old Nishiki Market; plus go sake tasting. Enjoy delicious pan-fried gyoza dumplings, steaming ramen noodles or warming motsunabe at Fukuoka's open-air food stands. Visit Shinsekai or Dotonbori in Osaka, famous for their pedestrian-only restaurant streets, and sample takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and kushikatsu.
