What to Expect:

The islands forming the Rote-Ndao Regency are not only Indonesia’s but also Asia’s southernmost islands; part of the Lesser Sunda Islands and separated from Australia by just 500km across the Timor Sea. Pulau Rote, the biggest island within the regency, resembles a slender limestone jewel with powdery white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and universally friendly locals. Until today the island of Pulau Rote is excluded from most of the tourist maps, but thanks to its world-class surf spots it is regarded as the world’s second-best surf destination after Hawaii. This little-known piece of paradise offers guests an exciting tropical getaway, which unlike many other destinations across Asia is still remote and unexplored.
